It has been a fantastic start to 2024! We have kicked off with a celebration of Jamaican Mango & Lime for 30+1 years, a product line in our Multicultural Division from locking gels, to scalp oils, hair sprays, braid maintenance, and more, along with Salon Pro 30 Sec, and so much more.
We participated in the Black Hair Experience in Atlanta, GA, where we welcomed over 70+ influencers and guests to visit our custom exhibit. The Black Hair Experience is an interactive selfie museum that combines a pop-up art exhibit and a series of Instagrammable spaces to celebrate Black hair. The Jamaican Mango & Lime exhibit will be displayed until Mar 22, 2024, at the Black Hair Experience.
In Atlanta, we were part of the Braids Your Way Salon Invasion, where our JML team “invaded” Locsfadayze, a braid bar in Smyrna, GA. That event was one for the books. The braid bar invasion was full of customers getting their locs, twists, and braids done with our 5-n-1 and Braids Your Way products, while the 1-N-2s were rocking with DJ Stephanie. It was a whole VIBE. A shout-out to the Locsfadayze Braid Bar team for a warm welcome to our team!
The team ended the week celebrating and supporting “One Enchanted Evening: The Untold Story at Bronner Bros”. The night was filled with surprises and star-studded beauty industry who-who’s. The talented artist Bad Boy Roy showed up with his unique techniques and showcased our brand alongside fantastic fashion. The hairstyles he created paired well with the fashions that walked the runway. He made our products pop on stage with the edgy hair he presented using Smooth Moisture and Braids Your Way. Stay turned for much more to come as we continue celebrating through 2024.
We also launched Flawless by Lady Van Der Hagen, a scented and unscented luxury shave cream with a travel razor and replaceable cartridges blades. We will be continuing to add to the line and and will post updates as available.
As leaders of braid maintenance products in the industry, we are excited to announce that Target stores will now be carrying our Braids Your Way products, including the 6-in-1 Soothes & Revives Braid Refresher, Braid Elixir, Foams & Refreshes Dry Wash, and Quick & Easy Braid Takedown.
